This gorgeous loop treats you to an easy-going escape into the heart of the Scottish Highlands. 

You will head toward Glencoe Lochan, starting near the peaceful settlement of Invercoe. Prepare to be amazed by towering giant redwoods and massive North American conifers that frame the water. 

On a clear day, the still surface acts like a perfect mirror, reflecting the dramatic mountain peaks above. It is a fantastic spot to look for local wildlife like red deer or rare pine martens. 

While the lakeside paths are generally smooth, some forested sections have rough roots and stones underfoot, so wearing comfortable, sturdy walking shoes is smart.
